Dave Roman
Dave Roman is the author/illustrator of Unicorn Boy, winner of The Week Junior’s graphic novel of the year, and the acclaimed Astronaut Academy series. He co-wrote American History: The Latin Remix alongside legendary actor John Leguizamo and is the co-creator of Teen Boat! Race for Boatlantis with John Patrick Green. Dave was an illustrator for Goosebumps Graphix: Slappy’s Tales of Horror, the Flight anthology series, and Agnes Quill: An Anthology of Mystery. Dave teaches at the School of Visual Arts and worked as the series editor for the NYT bestselling InvestiGators by John Patrick Green, First Second’s Science Comics, History Comics, and Nickelodeon Magazine. Dave draws a webcomic called Pup & Duck, lives in New York City, and is always on the lookout for the perfect waffle.
