Samantha Edwards
Samantha was born in Missouri on Labor Day, of all days. She grew up in a small town as the eldest daughter of a chaotic family and spent a good portion of her childhood watching loud cartoons and eating far too much red-colored candy. In spite of that, she went on to attend the University of Missouri, where she got her BFA in drawing. Shortly after, she received her Master’s in Library and Information Sciences from San Jose State University. While working on her debut middle grade graphic novel, she worked as a children’s librarian. A TALE AS TALL AS JACOB is based on her own life growing up in a wild ADHD family. Samantha spends her days working on silly comics for bored kids while procrastinating Important Adult Things™. She currently lives with her two gray, fuzzy cats and one buff, bald husband in Kansas City, Missouri (a place not to be confused with Kansas City, Kansas.)
