Mar Sabrina
Mar Sabrina is an illustrator and child psychologist from Argentina. She strives to give her art a unique touch from her experiences as a Latina, placing great importance on working from a human rights and mental health perspective and promoting the creation of worlds that are respectful of all identities and cultural backgrounds. In 2023, she participated in the Scholastic and We Need Diverse Books Mentorship, an experience that further fueled her passion for children’s publishing. Her work with children motivated her to explore textures and colors, delving into their hidden meanings and the emotions they can evoke. In her own childhood, she spent her time exploring nature and reading fairy tales which is why she now loves slow walks in the park and cozy mornings.
