Lisa Luedeke
Lisa Luedeke fell in love with writing in high school. At the University of New Hampshire, she took as many fiction writing courses as she could, and published in the school’s literary magazine. She didn’t begin to write her first novel, however, until nearly a decade later. In between, she taught high school and edited professional books for English teachers at Heinemann. She never forgot her writing dream, though. Her first YA, SMASHED, published with McElderry Books in 2012. She lives in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire with her husband and young daughter, where they ski, swim, hike, and hang out at their local bookstore, The Toadstool.
