Karla Manternach
Karla Manternach was a smudgy kid in tube socks who once stopped an entire parade by running in front of a fire truck for candy. She liked every subject in school, even Government, but she always loved writing best of all. When she was ten, she wrote a story called The Berry Hunt That Went ALIEN. Although it strongly resembled E.T., it has yet to be optioned for film. Today, Karla proudly champions the Oxford comma and texts with perfect punctuation. She lives with her family in small-town Wisconsin, where she writes for inspirational publications and ruins perfectly good desserts by adding whole grain. Her kids still love her, even though she won’t let them get another cat.
