Sarah Maizes
Sarah Maizes is a TV producer and creative executive (Amazon, Mattel, Jim Henson) with two decades of experience developing entertainment for kids and families from books to digital content – as well as a former literary agent with William Morris, where she represented books including Dav Pilkey’s Captain Underpants, Cynthia Rylant’s Poppleton series, and Ian Falconer’s Olivia.
She is also an award-winning children’s book author and recipient of two Children’s Book Council “Best Picture Book of the Year” Awards for ATTICUS CATICUS and ON MY WAY TO THE BATH – the latter of which the BBC licensed for their long-running Bedtime Story series on CBeeBies.
Sarah lives in Los Angeles with her family, where she teaches Brand Storytelling at UCLA Extension.
