Lisa Luedeke
Lisa Luedeke fell in love with writing in high school. At the University of New Hampshire, she took as many fiction writing courses as she could, and published in the school’s literary magazine. She didn’t begin to write her first novel, however, until nearly a decade later. In between, Lisa taught high school English in Maine and Slovenia before beginning a career as an editor of professional development books for K-12 teachers. She never forgot her writing dream, though. Her YA novel, Smashed, was a Westchester Fiction honor book. She is currently the Executive Content Director for Corwin Press and lives in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire with her daughter and their beloved poodle, Ginger.
