Larissa Theule
Larissa Theule is the author of fiction and nonfiction books for children, including The Sweater, illustrated by Teagan White (Viking); Kafka and the Doll, illustrated by Rebecca Green (Viking), and the Material Marvels series (Candlewick), which explores the fascinating origins of the materials around us and their uses today. Her work has received honors from the American Library Association, Junior Library Guild, Bologna Children’s Book Fair, and more. She holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults as well as a Masters in Education and enjoys teaching when she can. Having lived in many different parts of the world throughout her life, Larissa now lives in Southern California with her family and dog.
