Margie Palatini

Palatini - headshotAs a child, Margie Palatini loved classic books like ALICE IN WONDERLAND, LITTLE WOMEN and THE WIZARD OF OZ . . . and TV shows such as Warner Brothers cartoons (particularly a bunny called Bugs) and a crazy redhead named Lucy. It’s no wonder that she grew up to become an author of more than three dozen outrageously funny books. Margie graduated from Moore College of Art and Design and went on to become an art director in an advertising firm before turning to writing. Not only does she write, she illustrates, too! Her books include PIGGIE PIE, BED HEAD, THE WEB FILES, SWEET TOOTH, and MOOSETACHE, and have been honored with awards and accolades such as ALA Notable, BookSense Pick, Best Book of the Year lists by Newsweek, SLJ, and CBC, IRA Children’s Choice Award, and reading awards in more than 30 states. Margie lives with her family in New Jersey.
