Bank Street honors for W&P clients

THAT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA by Mo Willems and TREE LADY, illustrated by Jill McElmurry, are both semi-finalists for the Irma Black Award through Bank Street College. ┬áThe Irma Black Award honors “a book in which text and illustrations are inseparable, each enhancing and enlarging on the other to produce a singular whole. The Irma Black Award is unusual in that children are the final judges of the winning book.”┬áVoting runs through April 20, and the winner will be honored at an award breakfast in May. http://bankstreet.edu/center-childrens-literature/irma-black-award/semifinalists/
